Normally the Ferias will be planned for 3-4 days, which gives you lots of time to make follow ups and book meetings later.
One rule is to not talk business during this day’s, it is the time to enjoy yourself and forget the daily work.Dressing should be casual or traditional clothing for the region. Just be careful with what you are drinking, most popular are Beers, Vine and Rebujitos (Be aware) You should always accomplish your drinking with a tapa (snack).
“The rebujito is a typical Andalucía alcoholic drink, which is prepared by mixing manzanilla wine, lemon-lime soda, mint, and ice. It is extremely popular and the most typical drink of the San Miguel Fair and other Andalusian fairs, and of many pilgrimages.”
At the time when I am authoring this article, the San Miguel feria in Vélez Málaga has just begun and at the first day I had a stroll around all the stands to meet up with people that I know. Even the local Major had time to talk for a while, that normally is difficult to achieve during workdays.
As I said earlier, a nice relaxing way to meet people.
¡Viva la Feria!
