Recently discovered, a prehistoric population in the Amazon both cultivated and built monumental buildings. New technology is now uncovering the traces of alien civilizations that have been hidden beneath the greenery of the rainforest. (Very little news value has been spread about this matter.)
When I, as a sailor in 1965, traveled far into the jungle east of Lima (Peru) . I heard stories from the indigenous people there, that there were several hidden cities further into the jungle. However, it was not relevant for me to investigate, as I had to return to the ship. But I remember the stories as a mystery and now the city has been discovered!
In the Bolivian Llanos de Mojors, the so-called Casarabe culture lived between 500 and 1400 AD. Now, Carla Jaimes, an archaeologist at the University of Bonn, has mapped their settlements using the Lidar remote sensing tool, which makes it possible to “excavate” a large area covered in greenery without even lifting a shovel.
Large areas with buildings that can be closely compared to urban buildings emerged, with pyramids that are up to 20 meters high as well as canals and water reservoirs. (Very little news value has been spread about this matter.)
In 2022, archaeologists in Midyat, Turkey, discovered an underground city that dates back 2,000 years and may have been home to up to 70,000 people. The remains of a Christian church and Jewish synagogue have been found, and it’s possible that people in the underground city were trying to hide from the Roman Empire, which ruled the area and at times persecuted Christians and Jews.
One important detail is that only 5% of the city has been excavated so far. Research is ongoing, so it’s possible that new discoveries will be made in this underground city in 2023.
Around 15,000 years ago, the Earth began to transition from a state of heavy glacial coverage to a period of warming. As temperatures rose, large ice sheets that once blanketed much of North America and Europe thawed, and the oceans began to rise.
But after 2,000 years of warming, the Earth abruptly cooled to near-glacial conditions. And it stayed that way for more than a thousand years.
Scientists have long debated how this abrupt climatic event, which they call the Younger Dryas, occurred. A possible cosmic impact triggered an abrupt cooling episode that earth scientists refer to as the Younger Dryas, but can not be confirmed.
An unusual volcano has been discovered at a depth of 400 meters in the Barents Sea. The volcano releases mud and gas from the Earth’s interior, which scientists say provides new insights into the planet.
But the mud volcano continuously emits a liquid rich methane gas, from a natural blowout that happened 18.000 years ago, which is a very potent greenhouse gas when it reaches the atmosphere.
This vulcano, found in 2023, has become an urgent issue, as some researchers think that an abrupt climatic change event could happen soon, if a disruption of the Gulf Stream, force the ocean current to transports warm water from the Barents Sea to other parts of the Atlantic Ocean.
I can go on about the unsolved mysteries of the earth. But the important question that I ask is; Shouldn’t we invest more in getting the answers to this knowledge about our Earth, before we plan to construct habitats on other planets, about whose origins we know less? Or are world leaders and science hiding something about the real cause of climate change, so as not to create total chaos?
