How Artificial Intelligence May Transform Life as We Know It.

The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Business and Everyday Life.

For several years, I have been warning about global AI development.

As of today, October 12, 2026, several major international groups of global decision-makers are actively engaged in high-level discussions around the world. ( Unfortunately, I have not been invited)

In this article, I want to address the chat-bots that an increasing number of internet companies are using to communicate with their clients.

1. A problem arises that you try to resolve via the company’s chat service.

2. You are politely invited to chat with a named representative who claims they will try to help you.

3. When you ask your question, you receive a compilation of “Google-style” information that rarely actually answers your question.

4. You then politely explain to the bot that you haven’t received an answer to your question.

5. You are then told to wait to be connected to a “live” person.

6. This person responds just like the automated version, telling you to wait while they review the previous transcript.

7. It is impossible to tell whether this person is a real human or a robot, as the language is so well-programmed.

8. Then comes the answer—identical to the initial response from the bot—and you start to get annoyed.

9. If you haven’t had time to sit and wait in front of your PC and have stepped away for a moment, you suddenly find that the chat has been disconnected.

10. Now your patience is wearing thin, and you type out your inquiry once again.

11. A new name appears—your new “contact person” for the case—stating that they will review your previous details and asking you to wait.

 12. By now, over half an hour has passed, and you still haven’t received an answer to your question.

13. Finally, an answer arrives that matches the previous ones, and you are asked if there is anything else you need.

14. In my case, I am now asking for a supervisor to be connected to a supervisor.

15. In most cases, you never get to speak to a real person, and you are informed that there is no email address for lodging complaints.

How long are we expected to put up with this impersonal service? How many of the “operators” responding to chat-bots are actual human beings? I suspect it’s less than 10%. AI may be beneficial in many ways, but it cannot fully replace personal service.

I look forward with great interest to seeing what these giants come up with. As soon as I have any news, I will be back.

Thank you for reading my post.
